Gambling Helpline Aotearoa offers 24/7 phone, text and web chat support, with dedicated Mฤori, Pasifika, youth and debt lines. Face-to-face counselling is provided by specialist services in most regions, including kaupapa Mฤori and Pasifika providers, and family members can get support in their own right. The 1737 Need to Talk line is available for anyone in distress. Venue exclusion orders, arranged through venues or helpline counsellors, let people bar themselves from casinos and pokie venues.
