Gambling help in Poland

Poland's gambling support sits within the wider addiction-care system coordinated by the National Centre for Counteracting Addictions (KCPU), which funds prevention and treatment programmes, including some of the money raised from gambling. A national helpline for behavioural addictions, staffed by specialists from the Institute of Health Psychology of the Polish Psychological Society, takes calls about gambling from players and families. Treatment for gambling disorder is available free under the national health fund at addiction treatment clinics (poradnie leczenia uzależnień), and some offer specific programmes for gamblers. Anonimowi Hazardziści, the Polish Gamblers Anonymous fellowship, runs meetings in many cities. Self-tests help you reflect but are not diagnoses; a therapist can assess your situation properly.
